Prevent A Suicide App Privacy Policy
We, the Australian Suicide Prevention Foundation (ASPF) believe strongly in privacy. While using the “Prevent A Suicide – What To Say” app, no personally identifying data is recorded from you. The only data sent to our servers by your usage of the app is the choice of message to be sent, and the choice of messaging platform. This allows us to improve the recommendation of messages to other users. We do not record the text of the message you send, or any personalisation of the text, or the recipients or sender of the message. If you choose to send us an email to admin@aspf.org from the app, your email will naturally have the sender information that you supply in the email.
You Would never advise a friend to die;
tell yourself what you’d tell a friend.
*Important Disclaimer: Our texts are approved by those who themselves had suicidal thoughts, and by medical and other mental health professionals. This site is medical information only, and is not to be taken as diagnosis, advice or treatment, which can only be decided by your own doctor or mental health professional.
